Julia has a lifetime of embracing poetry in its many forms: dance, music, theatre, & painting. She has studied painting in N.Y.C., where she grew up; Spain; Guanajuato, Mexico; & in the piazzas, parks, & studios of Italy with Italian teachers; & Berkeley, CA where she now lives. She has exhibited in juried shows in Marin, Napa, Walnut Creek, Concord, Oakland, & Berkeley. Awards won include Napa County Fair 2x, & El Cerrito Fair 3x, & Oakland Art Assoc. Her paintings are inspired by travel & a love of color & light.
